06/28/11  Engine 16, Engine 17, Quint 7 and Midi 7, Truck 2(R.I.C.), Rescue 11, Car 99, Battalion 1, The Deputy Chief and Protectives responded to 155 Durnan St for a reported house fire with the possibility of people trapped. Engine 16 was on location with dark smoke showing from the roof of a 2 1/2 story wood frame dwelling. Command confirmed a working fire, and it was under control in 17 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

06/26/11  Engine 5, Truck 10, Engine 10, Engine 13(R.I.C.), Rescue 11, Car 99, Battalion 2, The Deputy Chief and Protectives responded to 241 Ravine Av for a house fire. Engine 5 was on location with light smoke showing from a 2 1/2 story wood frame dwelling. Command confirmed a working fire, and it was under control in 26 minutes. 06/22/11  Engine 3 responded to the intersection of Mount Read Blvd & Emerson St(near their quarters) for a MVA with injuries. They were on location reporting a person trapped. Engine 10, Rescue 11, Car 99 and Battalion 2 then responded. Truck 5 and Engine 13 responded as extra companies at the request of Battalion 2, and a total of 5 patients were treated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

06/18/11  Engine 10 responded to 99 Bryan St for the report of a car fire in the driveway. Engine 10 was on location with smoke from under the hood, and further confirmed a fire in the engine compartment. The fire was under control in 9 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

06/15/11  Engine 5, Engine 3, Truck 10, Engine 13(R.I.C.), Rescue 11, Car 99, Battalion 2, The Deputy Chief and Protectives responded to 164 Warner St for multiple reports of a house fire. Engine 5 was on location confirming a working fire and everyone out of the structure. Command requested another engine company to the scene, with Engine 10 then responding. The fire was under control in 31 minutes and the Red Cross is assisting the residents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

06/09/11  Quint 6 and Midi 6, Engine 16, Engine 17, Truck 2(R.I.C.), Rescue 11, Car 99, Battalion 1, The Deputy Chief and Protectives responded to 1089 Joseph Av for a reported garage fire. Quint 6 was on location reporting a working fire in a 1 story garage with an exposure problem. Command ordered an exterior attack & requested another engine to the scene, bringing Engine 10. RG&E was requested for live power lines involved, & the fire was under control in 23 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

06/07/11  Quint 6 and Midi 6, Engine 16, Truck 2, Engine 10(R.I.C.), Rescue 11, Car 99 and Battalion 1 responded to 1564 Saint Paul St for a reported apartment fire. Quint 6 was on location with nothing showing and being waved in, and then further reported a small fire in the floor of apartment 203A. 06/03/11  Truck 2 filled in at Quint 6 and Midi 6's quarters on North Clinton Av while companies worked 2 fires on the east side of the city, 1 on Bay St, and the other on North St. For audio and photos from Bay St, click here, and for audio and photos from North St, click here.
